Owen is three years old today!
It's a happy birthday, save for the fact that Mom is sick in the hospital with pneumonia, pleurisy, and a host of other issues. It won't be a conventional birthday celebration today, with part of the party moving to a hospital room, but Owen will get lots of additional attention from Dad who's taking some time from work to take care of Mom and all the kids, as well as from his grandpa and grandma Ives who've come to town to help out.
It should be noted Maya is also ready to party!
Owen has had a very good second year, documented in part on this blog which also turns a year old today. He's grown, learned so much, become an excellent big brother, and charmed his loving parents every day.
